Hind House is situated by the river Loddon near Wargrave. The design of the house had to take into account seasonal flooding from the river, and so is laid out as a series of wings in a pinwheel pattern, all raised up on columns. It has a steel frame construction with a timber stud infill. The exterior walls are cedar and zinc-clad with aluminium framed windows and single-ply roofing.
