New apartment building containing 20 units, adjacent to Battlebridge Basin, King's Cross.
Structure comprises seven storey reinforced concrete flat slab structure, with steel framed roof.
Double storey underground car park. Foundations 4 metres below canal water level, less than 2 metres away from basement wall.
Transfer structure at ground floor level between car park column grid and apartment column grid comprises 450 mm thick slab with diagrid of reinforcing bars set at 30 degrees to span direction. This effectively creates a two way spanning slab that is much more efficient than a single direction span.
Galvanized steel framing of rolled sections bolted to edge of slabs so as to support external masonry skin and balcony structures.
