Our involvement on the project was the structural design of a series of installations; a climbing horse and a harvest mouse nest. All installations were constructed using a combination of timber and steel framing. Our role on such projects is obviously to interpret the intentions of the designers, but also to produce a structural design where no codes exist; often inventing loads and load combinations, as well as deflection and stress limits.
