New Concrete Staircase
Within A Refurbished Private House

As part of a major private house refurbishment, our client wanted to have a concrete staircase connecting a new basement to the ground floor level. The design reflected the clients requirements; no columns under the landing, a natural concrete finish, and for the stair to spaced away from the wall. The landing was cast into a rebate formed in the rear masonry wall of the house, and the stair’s lateral stability was achieved by constructing a rigid joint with the floor slab.
