Hind House wins RIBA Award
John Pardey Architects' Hind House has won an RIBA Award for the South Region. Situated by the river Loddon near Wargrave, the design of the house had to take into account seasonal flooding from the river, the solution to which was to raise the building on stilts, a response that the RIBA judges commended.
